Skill Progression

Each time a player levels up during battle, they receive one skill point to allocate between levels 1–5. From level 6 onward, players earn two skill points per level, allowing for faster progression and deeper customization. When upgrading a skill, new skill branches are unlocked, giving players the choice to continue upgrading an existing skill or explore a new path to discover skills that best fit the battle ahead.

Skill Evolution (Evo) System

A standout feature in Stellar Forger is the Skill Evolution (Evo) system. When a skill reaches 5 stars and is combined with a random Passive Skill, it evolves, unlocking enhanced effects, increased damage, and additional combat benefits.

Skill Categories

Skills are divided into two categories: Active Skills and Passive Skills.

• Active Skills are combat abilities that players can select and upgrade during battle, allowing for strategic adaptation based on different combat scenarios. Once fully upgraded, each Active Skill undergoes Evolution (Evo), unlocking enhanced effects and increased damage output.

Galaxy Wars is the game's primary mode and the centerpiece of its first season, featuring intense battles across 20 planets, with more to be introduced in future updates.

Each battle is designed to last six minutes, with two powerful bosses emerging at three-minute intervals. Between these encounters, waves of invading aliens launch relentless assaults, escalating the challenge as players fight for survival.

The journey spans across 20 unique planets, culminating in the final and most epic confrontation on Geb-Nut—a planet that was once Earth. This decisive battle marks the ultimate showdown, where victory will determine the fate of the galaxy and bring an end to the Galaxy Wars, securing peace for humanity.

There're 20 planets:

Khepri-Ra (Mercury) - Named after the god Khepri, associated with the morning sun, reflecting the planet's proximity to the Sun.

Sekhem-Ankh (Venus) - Combining "Sekhem" (power) and "Ankh" (life), symbolizing the planet's brightness and vitality.

Geb-Nut (Earth) - Geb, the god of the earth, and Nut, the goddess of the sky, representing the harmony of Earth.

Duamutef (Mars) - Named after one of the Four Sons of Horus, associated with protection and war, fitting Mars' characteristics.

Apep-Set (Jupiter) - Named after Apep, the serpent god of chaos, and Set, the god of storms, symbolizing the planet's immense and turbulent nature.

Gear is an NFT item and divided into two types: Equipment and Weapons.

Similar to Heroes, Gear is categorized by rarity, with each rarity level determining its base stats and upgrade limits. Players can enhance the power of their gear by leveling it up to maximize its attributes, making it an essential component of character progression.

Gear primarily boosts a hero’s main stats depending on the type of equipment. Additionally, Gear NFTs (excluding those created through minting) come with an extra Prospecting stat, enhancing the player's ability to find and loot materials in battle.

When a full set of matching gear is equipped, hidden stats are activated, granting additional bonuses that enhance combat performance and strategic advantages.

How to Acquire Gear

Players can obtain gear through three main methods:

1. Forging from materials looted in battles.

2. Purchasing from other players in the Marketplace

3. Acquiring NFT gear through in-game events or sales.

For non-NFT gear, players have the option to mint their items into NFTs at no cost (excluding gas fees). This allows them to trade gear on the Marketplace. However, gear that is minted into NFTs will not receive a Prospecting stat bonus, making originally minted NFTs more valuable.

In addition to the main stats, gear also comes with 17 secondary stats that influence performance in combat:

The Blacksmith serves as the core facility for upgrading, forging, and enhancing equipment in our game. Players can refine their gear, craft new weapons, and strengthen existing equipment to optimize combat performance and progression.

By utilizing acquired materials, players can enhance their assets, forge high-tier equipment, and improve gear attributes, ensuring greater efficiency and adaptability in battle.

Every battle is a chance to earn valuable rewards that can be reinvested to enhance progression, empower heroes, or leveraged for profit. Players receive rewards based on performance, difficulty, and progression through Galaxy Wars, ensuring that higher challenges yield greater benefits.

Rewards include SF points, gold, artifact equipment, and rare resources that offer unique advantages in combat. Each battle is designed to last six minutes, featuring two boss encounters at three-minute intervals, alongside continuous alien invasions. Defeating these enemies grants scaling rewards, with tougher encounters dropping rarer and more powerful items that increase in value and exclusivity. To build excitement for the game's launch, players will receive a one-time $A8 token bonus upon completing battles, incentivizing early participation and rewarding dedicated players. Additionally, $MEDAL tokens will be introduced as part of the reward system, ensuring that players who actively engage and excel in battles receive meaningful and well-deserved rewards.

Assets are centered around Heroes and Gear (Weapons & Equipment), forming the foundation of the gameplay experience. These assets are NFTs, granting players true ownership, tradability, and the ability to enhance their in-game progression through blockchain integration. All NFT assets will be managed seamlessly through both the game and the official website, ensuring smooth integration and accessibility for players.

In future phases of the game, additional types of asset will be gradually introduced, with further details to be announced.

Heroes are the main characters in Stellar Forger, controlled by players to conquer planets. Each hero has a unique appearance and combat abilities, offering diverse playstyles and strategies.

Heroes have key stats, including HP and ATK, which define their vitality and combat strength. Additionally, each hero possesses a unique stat—Prospecting, which determines their ability to find and loot materials during battles.

Heroes are classified by rarity, with each rarity tier featuring distinct base stats and upgrade potential. Players can increase a hero's stats through leveling and enhancements, making them more powerful as they progress. Additionally, heroes can be equipped with weapons and gear, further boosting their stats based on the attributes of the equipped items. This allows players to customize and optimize their heroes for different combat strategies.

Heroes are NFT assets, and players can acquire them through four methods:

1. Purchasing from other players on the Marketplace.

2. Acquiring NFT drops & sales through official launches and partnerships.

3. Earning through in-game events, including the Season Pass, limited-time events, and progression in Galaxy Wars battles.

Hero Stats

Each hero has 17 core stats that define their performance in battle:

Each hero's stats and abilities determine their combat efficiency, allowing players to build and optimize their squad for different challenges across the Galaxy Wars.

Weapons are the primary offensive tools for players. Weapons have ATK as their main stat. Each weapon, with its unique design and attack style, provides different combat strategies for players to explore.

The Exchange allows players to mint Keys by converting in-game resources. By using equipment, weapon materials, and other battle-earned resources, players can fill the progress bar and, with a small coin fee, generate new Keys. This system provides an efficient way to repurpose surplus materials, ensuring steady progression while optimizing resource utilization for future enhancements.

The Forge is where players can obtain new equipment, including powerful items of Rare, Legendary, and Arcana tiers. This system provides an opportunity to acquire high-quality gear that enhances combat effectiveness and progression.

• Ecosystem Participation:

NFT staking in Stellar Forger enables players to participate more deeply in the game ecosystem. The staking mechanism is designed to encourage long-term community engagement through the distribution of $MEDAL tokens.

• Token Distribution:

The system allocates 2.5% of total $MEDAL tokens every 2 months to NFT staking participants. A total of 12.5% of $MEDAL tokens will be distributed over 10 months (~25,000,000 $MEDAL every 2 months). This allocation is independent of the 5% reserved for season game rewards.

• Distribution Calculation:

The amount of $MEDAL tokens you receive is proportional to the number of NFTs you stake relative to the total staked NFTs in the system and the total pool $MEDAL. Below is an estimation of token distribution based on the number of NFTs participating in staking:

The Upgrade mechanism enables players to strengthen their assets, including Heroes, Equipment, and Weapons. Each upgrade level and rarity tier requires specific materials and comes with a success rate that fluctuates based on the asset's progression stage, adding an element of strategy to resource management and enhancement.

When an upgrade is successful, the enhanced Hero, Gear, or Weapon gains improved stats, boosting overall combat effectiveness. Higher rarity assets demand rarer materials and come with lower success rates, making strategic resource allocation and risk management crucial for long-term progression.

Overview

The Leaderboard is a system that ranks players in the game based on their battle points. It serves as a driving force for engagement, creating exciting challenges that reward skill and dedication.

How it work?

Leaderboard rankings are determined by the points players earn in each battle. The number of points awarded varies based on planet difficulty and player performance. The stronger you become and the more you play, the higher the points you accumulate.

In Chapter 1, Battle Points are officially known as SF Points, which players can earn and use to compete for top ranks and exclusive rewards.

There are 20 World Maps, each with a unique scale index, and three types of alien monsters: Horde, Elite, and Boss. The number of SF Points players earn in each match is calculated based on the type of alien monsters killed and the scale index of the map being played. The formula for calculating SF Points is as follows:

SF Points = [(X × 1) + (Y × 2) + (Z × 3)] × N

X: Number of Horde you killed

Y: Number of Elite you killed

Z: Number of Boss you killed

N: Scale index of World map you played on

The Leaderboard system is not solely for top-ranked players. Every contribution and support for the game during this phase is valuable and will be recognized. Even those who are not in the top ranks will have the chance to receive rewards.

Equipment consists of four types: Helmet, Armor, Belt, and Greaves. Each type of Equipment adds corresponding stats, which can be either HP or ATK.

Each type of equipment includes various items designed with different themes. Four items (Helmet, Armor, Belt, and Greaves) sharing the same theme will form a complete equipment set. When a player equips a complete set of Equipment, they gain an additional devastating skill, harnessing the combined power of the materials.

Overview

The Season Pass is the key reward system of each Season (First season last one month). The Battle Pass provides players with many valuable rewards, helping them power up to achieve a higher Rank in the season. As the reward system representing a Season, the Season Pass will include Season-specific rewards such as new heroes, new gears, resources, etc.

How it works?

The Season Pass is priced at 100 $A8 and consists of 80 Tiers. To progress through each Tier and claim rewards, players must accumulate Season XP, which can be earned by completing Season Quests.

Each Tier contains two types of rewards:

• Normal Rewards – Standard rewards with moderate quantity and variety.

• Premium Rewards – High-value rewards with larger quantities, greater variety, and exclusive bonuses.

Community-Focused Incentives

To reward early supporters, players who complete all milestones in the first Season will receive 70% of their Season Pass cost refunded. The remaining 30% will be allocated to the Leaderboard reward pool, ensuring a community-driven reward structure that benefits active participants.

Stellar Forger revolutionizes the roguelike genre by integrating IP (Intellectual Property) into its gameplay. In the context of Web3, IP often refers to iconic digital works like NFT collections, as well as globally recognized IPs such as CryptoPunks, Pudgy Penguins, Azuki and more. Free-to-Play

The Free-to-Play model has been a core principle of Stellar Forger since the project’s inception. We believe that forcing players to invest money upfront to enjoy the game is unreasonable and prevents many traditional players from exploring NFT-based games.

New players are given a free Hero upon joining, allowing them to participate in battles and earn in-game rewards. As they progress and reach higher ranks, they will unlock their second and third Heroes. After each battle, players can claim $A8 and SF Points, which can later be converted into $MEDAL. Additionally, players can gather resources to forge new gear and equipment, continuously reinvesting into their progression through a sustainable gameplay loop.

How are free heroes distributed?

When players log into the game for the first time, they will be given a free hero at Level 1. Players can still use Gold or artifact fragment to upgrade those heroes for free normally. The only difference is that free heroes are not eligible for minting and being sold on the NFT marketplace.

Free Heroes vs. NFT Heroes

• Free Heroes have lower stats and tiers compared to NFT Heroes, directly impacting battle performance and the points earned per match, which affects token conversion.

• Free Hero cannot be traded on the marketplace

• Free Hero cannot participate in Special Events

• Free Heroes are in-game assets, whereas NFT Heroes are onchain assets with full ownership and trading capabilities.
